Rowan weather: Dense fog today and tomorrow

Published 12:00 am Tuesday, September 30, 2014

Dense fog is greeting early-morning drivers today, and it will hang around until at least 9 a.m.
It should gradually turn partly sunny today with a high near 81, and we’ll have more fog overnight, with a low of 57.
That means Wednesday will like start off foggy, too, but it should clear up and warm to 82 degrees. Wednesday night will be around 61.
We’ve had good air quality for a couple of weeks, but Today, Wednesday and Thursday are all code yellow, or moderate air days, so you may notice a difference if you are particularly sensitive.
Thursday should be sunny and 82 again, with a light wind. Then a slight chance of showers creeps in Thursday night.
And that means Friday we have a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms for most of the day and into Friday night. Still, we might see some sun Friday, and a high near 76. Friday night, the showers and thunderstorms continue, with a low of 57.
If the rain moves on out, Saturday should be sunny and 73, a gorgeous day. But we’ll have a chilly low of 48.
Sunday, sunny and 70, with a low around 51.
Monday looks good, too, with sunny skies and a high near 73.
