Chamber membership campaign a success

The Rowan County Chamber of Commerce reports the Total Resource Campaign brought in 96 new members and $95,500 total investments. The goal was 90 new members and $75,000 total investments.
“We are excited to have reached our goal and want to express our sincere appreciation to all the volunteers who worked so hard in the campaign,” said Dari Caldwell, president of Novant Health Rowan Medical Center and chair-elect of the Rowan Chamber.
Sponsors of the Campaign were Cloninger Ford/Toyota, Walmart and Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Top producer was Martha Bostian (The Post Group), who won a vacation package valued at more than $2,500. Other top producers included Doug Holmes (Holmes Iron & Metal), second place; Penny Greer Link (VA Medical Center), third place; Millie Cress (First Bank), fourth place; and Linda Lefler (Belk), fifth place.
Top team was Donna Barnes (Park Sterling Bank), with teammates: Laurie Shuping (Shuping Travel); Martha Bostian (The Post Group); Joan Palmer (Palmer Promotions); Barry Hill (Fisher Greene); Karla Foster Costantino (Century 21); Sherry Boyd (CMCNE); Patrice Gordon (Comfort Keepers); and Renee Gray (Tender Hearted Home Care.)
The chamber thanks all of the members who donated prizes for the campaign volunteers, Allstate-Jim Michael, American Cancer Society, Apple House Realty, Ashley Shoaf, Belk’s, Blowing Smoke, Brent Safrit, Catawba College, Cooper Advertising, Creative Teaching Aids, Diversified Graphics, Downtown Salisbury Inc., First Bank, Healthcare Technologies, Hope Lane Opportunities, Jam’s Travel, JG Media, Kiker Group, Magnolia Gardens, Marriott, Novant Prescription Center, Panera Bread, Penrod Medical Center, Rowan County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Rowan Museum, Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, Salisbury Dental Family, Salisbury Symphony, Sharonview Federal Credit Union, Shuping Travel, Smart Start Rowan, Wayne Mullis Travel, Wells Fargo Bank and Woodleaf Lanes.
New members who joined during the Total Resource Campaign are invited to a New Member Reception on Thursday, Oct. 9, 4–5 p.m., at the Gateway Building, 204 E.
