Rowan weather: Nothing but blue skies coming our way

Think of this: There are freeze warnings and frost advisories in Upstate New York and Vermont, where temperatures are in the 30s this morning.
It’s 64 here at 7:30 a.m., and that’s a cool down for us. We also have 99 percent humidity, so it’s dripping wet, too.
Today we have a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, then a chance of showers late this afternoon. But it should be partly sunny and near 78. Tonight, we still have a chance of showers, and the low will be 60.
Saturday’s the day to be outdoors — sunny and 82 with a north northeast breeze of 3 to 7 mph. Saturday night’s low will be 59.
Sunday, sunny and 84, with winds shifting to the west. The low will be around 62.
And the good stuff sticks with us for most of next week. Monday’s high under mostly sunny skies will be near 78, with a low of 54.
Look for a sunny Tuesday, too, with a high around 76 and a low again near 54.
Wednesday and Thursday are cooler yet, with Wednesday’s high around 73 and a low around 53 and Thursday’s high near 72.
There’s no mention of rain for next week – but we all know that can change. It looks like we’re going to finally get a break from the heat and humidity of summer.
