As an employee of Rowan Salisbury Schools, I would like to say thank you to those in the community who are supporting our school system.
Volunteers have given countless hours of their time to spruce up our campuses; businesses have posted signs in their windows showing support to particular schools; donations for our Back to School Curriculum Conferences and systemwide pep rally have flooded in.
These and many other efforts do not go unnoticed. Please know your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the Salisbury Post which we enjoy very much and eagerly await every morning. The day wouldn’t be the same without our Post!
Please, when you feature a business or organization or agency, please give the address. I am a Rowan County native but left here in 1965 and returned in 2011 so I’m not familiar with where everything is. Where is Greg’s Family Restaurant? I read the article by Hugh Fisher twice and only saw Rockwell. That doesn’t help very much. Emily Ford’s article about Rowdy Cannaday gave the address of his business, which is most helpful for those interested in musical instruments.
I enjoy reading about different schools and parks and places of interest but don’t always know where they are. For example, we have no idea where Hurley Park is. We have a general idea of where Dan Nicholas Park is, but it would be so much nicer if the address was included in articles. I’ve asked lifelong residents after reading some articles and many of them don’t know where a particular place is that has been featured. I can google it, but I’m technologically challenged and don’t use anything but a personal computer, so I’m not always where I can readily check that information. I once had a Kindle Fire but returned it because I couldn’t figure out how to work it, so any help you can give those of us who need it will be greatly appreciated! Thank you again for your wonderful publication.
