Authorities are looking into who stole construction equipment parts from a St. Andrews Church Road property sometime within the last two weeks.
A deputy with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 400 block of St. Andrews Church Road in Woodleaf.
The property owner, Terry Morgan, told investigators he leased part of the property, a field located across from the 300 block of St. Andrews Church Road.
Morgan believes someone stole bulldozer parts including the track and excavator parts sometime between July 29 and Sunday.
A report said it appeared as if someone dragged the scrap equipment across the field and hauled it away.
