What is the USO?

Our Mission: The USO lifts the spirits of America’s troops and their families.
Millions of times each year at hundreds of locations around the world, the USO lifts the spirits of America’s troops and their families. We are not a government agency, but a nonprofit, congressionally chartered, private organization which relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support our activities.

For 73 years, the USO has stood by our troops during every step of their service, changing lives by building hope and resiliency among our troops and their families.
