N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close a.2 mile section of Business 85 (US 29/70/B85) South in Lexington today, for pavement repairs, weather permitting.
Crews will alternate lane closures along the portion of Business 85 South near the West 5th Avenue Exit. Work will take place from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and is expected to be complete by Friday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m.
NCDOT reminds motorists to use caution in the area, watch signs for construction information and allow plenty of time to reach their destinations safely.
