Rowan weather: A little rain and fog

With light mist and fog this morning, it just doesn’t seem like July. This week brings us the most frequent and highest chance of rain we’ve had in many weeks.
We have a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, cloudy skies, with a high of only 80 degrees. That chance of rain continues tonight, with more fog expected in the early morning. The low will be around 69.
Tuesday, we’ll have another 50 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms possible later in the day. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 84. Tuesday night brings a slight drop in the rain chance to 40 percent, with a low around 70.
Only a 30 percent chance of rain Wednesday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 87. The chance of precipitation goes up Wednesday night to 40 percent, with another low around 70.
For Thursday, it’s another 50 percent chance of showers and storms under mostly sunny skies and a hot high near 89. Look for a 40 percent chance of rain Thursday night and a low of 69.
Friday, the rain chance drops back to 30 percent with partly sunny skies and a high of 86. The low will be around 67, with no mention of showers.
No showers Saturday either, at least not at this point. The high should be near 87 and the low around 69. Sunday will be very warm again, 88, with a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
