• Marietta Smith’s show “Chica, Chica, Chica” with opening reception 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Rail Walk Studios & Gallery
• Paige Thrasher’s show “Vernissage a la Paige” with opening reception 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Spoken Space Theatre
• St. Thomas Player’s production of “Last Fall” opens Thursday at Lee Street Theatre. Ticket holders for the play will receive a coupon worth a $5 discount to Chickweed.
• Chickweed — Celebrating Indestructible Women, the third annual benefit for the Family Crisis Council of Rowan County is on Saturday; doors open at 4 p.m., the show is from 5 p.m. until midnight.
