Rowan weather: 90s for the weekend

Some people may see patchy fog this morning, but it’s quite a bit cooler than it has been, 64 degrees at 7 a.m.
Today will clear gradually and the temperature will rise to 88. Tonight, there’s a 20 percent chance of rain, mainly before 9 p.m. The low will be around 67. We’ll have good air quality today and moderate on Saturday and Sunday. The UV index today is 9, still very high.
Mostly sunny skies Saturday will allow the high to rise to 89, with little to no wind. Saturday night’s low will be around 70.
Not much chance of rain Sunday, either, only 20 percent. It will be hotter yet, near 91, under mostly sunny skies. Sunday night’s low will be around 72.
Monday, look for the usual 30 percent chance of showers and storms mostly after 2 p.m., with a hot high of 92 under mostly sunny skies. Sunday night, keep the rain chance and expect a low near 72.
The chance of showers and storms rises to 40 percent Tuesday, but it will still be warm, with a high near 90. The difference will be our nighttime low of 67, a little more comfortable.
Wednesday, we get a break from the heat, with a high of 83, no chance of rain and partly sunny skies. A 30 percent chance of precipitation creeps in Wednesday night, but it will be nice, with a low of 64.
The high will be near 85 Thursday, and there’s no mention of rain.
