Rowan weather: Hot, a few clouds

This morning feels even stickier than Tuesday, doesn’t it. At. 6:40, the temperature was 73 and the humidity was 82 percent.
We may see isolated showers, then scattered showers and thunderstorms today after 10 a.m. It’s going to another hot one, with a high of 91 and partly sunny skies. Chance of rain is 40 percent. Tonight’s low, with a 30 percent chance of rain, will be 69.
It’s a code green air day, good air quality. And the UV index is in the high range, at a 7. You still need protection, but it’s a break from the last couple of weeks of very high indices.
You’ll notice a difference on Thursday, with a high of only 84 and mostly cloudy skies. The chance of any rainfall is just 40 percent. Low Thursday night will be around 66.
Friday, the 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms will be mainly after 5 p.m. It will be partly sunny and near 87, with no wind. Friday night, the chance of rain drops to 20 percent, with a low around 67.
Looks like Saturday and Sunday will be typical summer days, with a 30 percent chance of showers and storms both days. Saturday’s high will be near 87. Saturday’s low will be around 69.
Sunday, same thing, partly sunny, high near 87 and a low around 70. It’s the beginning of another warmup, with highs Monday, under partly sunny skies, near 89, with that familiar 30 percent chance of rain. Monday night’s low will be around 70.
Tuesday, we’re back at 89, back to the 30 percent chance of rain.
