Madelyn Bray Sifford of Rockwell graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte May 10, 2014, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, was on the Chancellors List and was a member of Kappa Delta Pi – International Honor Society in Educations and The National Society of Leadership.
A 2010 graduate of East Rowan High School, Madelyn will begin the nursing program at Cabarrus College of Health Science in August 2014.
She is the daughter of Richard and Amy Sifford of Rockwell and the granddaughter of Madge Sifford of Rockwell and Shirley Russ of Salisbury.
