Wallace Graduation

On May 10, 2014, Leesa “Lane” Wallace graduated from The Nicholas School for the Environment at Duke University with a Master in Environmental Management (MEM), specializing in Energy and the Environment. She also earned a certificate in Sustainable Systems Analysis.
During her graduate studies, she focused on energy and corporate sustainability, consulting with companies including REI, Lowes, Disney, Fuqua School of Business, and McDonalds. Her Masters Project included an in-depth study of McDonalds USA to identify the potential for restaurant energy savings and the possibility of net zero energy restaurant. She presented her project at the corporate McDonalds headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
Lane is the youngest daughter of Lee and Mona Lisa Wallace of Salisbury. She is sister to Whitney Wallace Williams (husband Brannon), also of Salisbury. She received her B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 2007, and remains a faithful Tarheel fan!
