SALISBURY — Shh. Spread the word, but do it quietly.
The Rowan Public Library’s annual book sale started Friday. Although many book lovers have already culled the titles, with roughly 12,000 books up for grabs, there should be plenty left for Saturday’s half-price sale and Monday’s super sale — $1 for all the books you can fit into a bag.
Friday’s sale offers books, audio books, children’s books, DVDs, CDs and cassette and VHS tapes for $2 or less. The sale is at the library’s main branch at 201 W. Fisher St.
