Blotter: Traffic stop leads to drug charges

Police seized marijuana from the vehicle of a Salisbury man during a traffic stop Monday afternoon in the 500 block of South Jackson Street. When an officer asked for his license and registration, a handgun was found in the glove box. Salisbury Police charged Ivan Leon Chambers, 24, of the 700 block of Bringle Ferry Road with misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor simple possession of marijuana. The officer could see the remainder of two blunts lying in the back seat.

• A man reported someone shot two holes into his residence Monday in the 500 block of East Franklin Street.


• Police seized drugs Monday in the 800 block of West Innes Street and issued a citation.

• Crystal Chaunta Fowler, 24, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor possession of an open container of alcohol in passenger area at the 600 block of West Monroe Street and South Craige Street.

• Kimberly Yevette Fisher, 345, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor simple assault in the 100 block of East Liberty Street.

In sheriff’s reports:

• A man reported someone stole his vehicle from the 2500 block of West NC 152, China grove between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday.

• A man reported an attempted burglary in the 900 block of Panther Point Road, Richfield between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 2:05 p.m. Friday.

• A man reported that two pitbulls were stolen from his home in the 100 block of Wingate Lane, Rockwell, between 8 a.m. April 5 and 11:17 a.m. Friday.

• A man reported a burglary at his home in the 11900 block of Shinn Road, Mount Ulla between 9 a.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

• Donald Craig Anderson, 49, was charged Friday with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in the 1100 block of Safrit Road.

• Conswella Monteen Robinson, 39, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor frivolous prosecution in the 100 block of West Liberty Street.

• Bryan Williams Gibson, 29, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor larceny in the 1000 block of Hidden Circle.

• Joshua Wayne Sheppard, 28, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor breaking and entering with in the 100 block of Tammy Road.

• Christian Herrera, 21, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor resist, obstruct, delay an officer in the 200 block of North Bostian Street, China Grove.

• Roberto Pineda, 22, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor assault on a government official in the 200 block of North Bostian Street, China Grove.

• Angel Salinas Rebollar, 22, was charged Sunday with resist, obstruct, delay an officer and assault on a government official in the 200 block of North Bostian Street, China Grove.

• April Rathburn McDaniel, 21, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor simple assault and misdemeanor resist, obstruct, delay an officer in the 200 block of Stagecoach Trail, Cleveland.

• Sherry Carey Odell, 21, was charged Thursday with felony breaking and entering a building in the 17000 block of Oak Breeze Circle Thursday and with possession of drug paraphernalia following her arrest.

• Jonathan Wayne Shumake, 21, was charged with larceny Friday in the 100 block of West Liberty Street.
