A Salisbury man is in critical condition following an overnight wreck in which he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle at the intersection of Old Concord Road and South Jake Alexander Boulevard.
Salisbury Police say Daniel Reinbolt, 24, of Gold Hill Drive, was riding his 1998 Harley-Davidson motorcycle shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday when the driver of a 1998 Nissan, Kaytlin Nicolle Hegler Pless, 17, of Kannapolis, apparently turned in front of the bike, striking Reinbolt. He was taken to the Hefner VA Medical Center by ambulance and shortly after flown to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem. Hospital officials say he is critical, but stable. No other details were immediately available.
