Dr. Lynn Moody, superintendent of the Rowan-Salisbury School System, will present a new strategic plan for the Rowan-Salisbury School System during the next Rowan County Community Forum at 6 p.m. on May 13.
The forum will be held at the China Grove Community Room, 412 S. Myrtle Street, China Grove.

Education was consistently ranked the top priority by the survey participants at a March 6 community forum. More than 200 people attended that forum and 114 responded to an in-depth survey. Expanded survey results will also be presented and discussed at the May 13 meeting. Participants will be encouraged to get involved in areas of interest.
The goal of the Community Forum is to create a shared vision for Rowan County. It is being organized by Rowan County Chamber of Commerce, RowanWORKS Economic Development, Salisbury-Rowan Convention & Visitors Bureau, Downtown Salisbury, Inc. and The Land Trust for Central North Carolina.
