Rowan weather: First, rain, then freezing-frosty mornings

We have a little bit of everything coming at us in the next few days, including a freeze warning.
Rain will continue today with the possibility of severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and hail, especially during mid-day. Rainfall amounts will range from 1 to 2 inches, with higher amounts locally possible. Keep an eye out for creeks and streams rising rapidly with the rain.
Tomorrow morning, a freeze is likely, as a cold air mass moves into the area. Thursday, frost is possible, with clear skies and light winds. The freeze warning is in effect from 11 p.m. tonight to 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Temperatures today will remain nearly steady, in the mid-60s. The wind will shift from the south to the northwest by afternoon, with gusts as high as 29 mph. The chance of rain is 100 percent. Look for a low tonight around 30 as skies clear, with continued gusty winds.
After a cold start, Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 54 and winds from the North northeast at 11-14 mph, with gusts up to 20. Areas of frost are expected after 2 a.m. Thursday, with a low of 31.
Thursday will be slightly warmer, with a high near 62 and more northeast winds. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 40. Friday will be much the same, partly sunny and a high near 62 with a low of 47.
The weekend looks nice with partly sunny skies and a high Saturday near 69; a low of 49. Easter Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 71, and a low of 48.
Even Monday looks nice, with a high near 71.
