Crime blotter: Woman says grandson stole bank card

CHINA GROVE — A 73-year-old woman told authorities she believes her grandson stole her bank debit card and used it multiple times between March 18 and March 23.

The Cannon Farm Road resident reported the theft Saturday.


According to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports, the card was used 17 times in Kannapolis, China Grove and Concord.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A woman reported she was physically assaulted around 1 a.m. Saturday by her boyfriend and an unknown woman on 7th Street in Salisbury.

• A man reported someone stole the license plate from his vehicle parked in the 200 Block of Daisy Lane, Salisbury, between 10 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

• A woman reported someone stole her purse from her car parked at the Webb Road Flea Market between 9:45 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. Saturday .

• A woman reported someone broken into her storage building in the 1100 block of Teakwood Trail, Rockwell, and stole property between 3 p.m. March 15 and 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

• A Mellon Drive, Salisbury, man reported being a victim of fraud on Saturday.

• An Oak Breeze Drive, Mooresville, woman reported being physically assaulted on Saturday.

• A man reported the license plate stolen from his vehicle parked in the 60000 block of Interstate 85 South between 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

• A Park Edwards Road, Kannapolis, woman reported someone broke into her house between 6:30 a.m. April 2 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

• A man reported someone stole a gun from his vehicle parked in the 200 block of Vanderbilt Avenue, China Grove, between 8 a.m. Friday and 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

• Thomas James Pennison, 24, was charged Friday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in the 3500 block of Stokes Ferry Road.

• Marissa Ann Moore, 19, was charged Friday with misdemeanor second-degree trespass in the 200 block of North Main Street, Salisbury,

• Mikael Daiquan Pulliam, 21, was charged Friday with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a controlled substance in the 3300 block of Old Mocksville Road, Salisbury.

• Kaila Cherie Honeycutt, 21, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor using drug equipment or paraphernalia on East Corriher Street, Landis.

• Terry Brett Bunn, 30, was charged Sunday misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon in the 50 block of Walnut Street, China Grove.

• Richard Lee Moore, 45, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor worthless check in the 1100 block of Holshouser Road, Rockwell.

• Brian Keith Brown, 34, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor larceny in the 1000 block of Railroad Street, China Grove.

• Andrew Jay Peyton, 48, was charged Sunday with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 100 block of West Liberty Street, Salisbury.

In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• A woman reported someone stole property from her car parked in the 200 block of Faith Road between 2:30 p.m. and 8:46 p.m. Sunday.

• A man reported someone stole a bicycle from the 200 block of North Long Street between 12:31 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. Monday.

• A man reported someone broke into a building in the 1300 block of Standish Street between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday.

• Taleem Amir Lee, 19, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing in the 600 block of Cherry Street.

• Ebin Shaheed Williams, 21, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing in the 600 block of Cherry Street.

• Brian Alan Cuthbertson, 17, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing in the 600 block of Cherry Street.

• Aleyah Latreece Blackwell, 18, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor larceny in the 800 block of East Innes Street.

• Jeana Charles Poole, 54, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor larceny in the 300 block of South Arlington Street.

• Nina Marie Cook, 25, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor larceny in the 300 block of South Arlington Street.

• Ranal Ingram, 25, was charged Saturday with misdemeanor larceny in the 300 block of South Arlington Street.

• Trent Dalton Isaac, 18, was charged Monday with misdemeanor engaging in fighting in public in the 1200 block of North Main Street.

• Zackary Todd Smith, 17, was charged Monday with misdemeanor engaging in fighting in public in the 1200 block of North Main Street.

• Anthony Lamont Godfrey, 50, was charged Monday with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing in the 1200 block of North Salisbury Avenue, Spencer.
