Daniel Sawyer Troutman, 15, of Boy Scout Troop 350, is receiving his Eagle Scout award today, Feb. 2, 2014, at St. Peters Lutheran Church. He has earned 27 Merit Badges and is currently Troop Guide.
Daniel’s Eagle Scout project was sealcoating and striping the St. Peters Lutheran Church parking lot.
The son of Steve and Ellen Troutman of Salisbury and grandson of Thelma and Ray Barger and Pat Troutman, Daniel is a 10th-grader at East Rowan High School.
He participates in JROTC, cross country and indoor and outdoor track.
