Hairston Funeral Home taking applications for service award

Hairston Funeral Home Inc. is accepting names from the community to be considered for the OPEG award (Ordinary People with Extraordinary Gifts).

The award will be presented at the second annual Community Recognition Program, which will be held at a future date.


The OPEG award will be presented to individuals who have gone above and beyond the “norm” to exemplify the ideas of community service, including volunteerism, church involvement, family and education.
