• Joint Watch Night Service 10 p.m. tonight, with Third Creek, Liberty, Cedar Grove AME Zion Churches at Cedar Grove, Cleveland. Speaker: Rev. David Smalls, pastor of Liberty AME Zion Church, Cooleemee.Also Gospel singing for anyone who would like to participate.

• Watch Night Praise and Worship Service, Vineyard Worship Center, formerly old New Zion Baptist church, off Dunn Mountain Road, tonight: baptism at 9:45 p.m., worship at 10:30 p.m. Guest speakers: Minister Rhonda Fitzgerard of Temple International Ministries, Charlotte, Minister Latosha Wilkes of Mt. • JC Price Post 107 New Year’s Eve party tonight, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., light refreshments, noise makers, champagne, music by Deejay Fresh. Donation $10.
