I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas full of family and friends.

Thank you to all for your thoughtful gift. We will enjoy our Santos restaurant gift certificate in the next few months.

The Christmas parties on Tuesday and Friday were wonderful. So much food and so little time to enjoy it.

The McLaughlins placed first, with Gloria Bryant and Wayne Pegram taking second place on Dec. 17.

Winners on Dec. 20 were: N/S — First, Marie Pugh and Ruth Bowles; second, Ron Jeffers and Simon Brigman; third, Joe O’Brien and Genny Mozolak; fourth, Carol Bachl and Judy Gealy. E/W — First, Brenda Pace and Wayne Pegram; second, John and Myrnie McLaughlin; third, Anna and Dave Goff; fourth, Anita Graham and Georgia Sorensen.

This was Georgia’s first time playing in a duplicate game.

Since this was a club championship game we had overall winners: First, Brenda Pace and Wayne Pegram; second, Marie Pugh and Ruth Bowles; third, John and Myrnie McLaughlin; fourth, Dave and Anna Goff; fifith, Simon Brigman and Ron Jeffers.

Our featured hand is board No. 28 from the Evergreen game. N/S vulnerable West dealer

There will be no bridge games until January. Those going to the Myrtle Beach tournament, good luck panning for gold.

Have a safe and successful New Year.
