SALISBURY — Mark Stephenson Portraiture and Painting will be host for a Dec. 14 “Meet the Author” gathering, marking the release of Nancy B. Brewer’s new book, “The House with the Red Light.”

Brewer will be at Stephenson’s gallery from 2-5 p.m. Dec. 14. The upstairs gallery is located at 110 S. Main St., Suite A.

Brewer will have copies of all of her books for sale, as well as the new CD by bluegrass artist Rhonda Vincent, whose CD, “The House with the Red Light” was inspired by Brewer’s book.

Brewer co-wrote five of the songs on the CD with Vincent.

Stephenson’s artwork also will be on display in the upstairs gallery. Music will be provided by his wife and Brewer’s daughter, Caroline Stephenson.

Refreshments will be offered.
