Davidson resigns as Catawba’s AD

Catawba College athletic director Dennis Davidson will resign from his position on Dec. 31, he announced Monday. Davidson, Catawba’s AD for the past 17 years and a former Post sportswriter, announced his resignation by email to the athletics staff.

“It is time for a fresh start for Catawba College Athletics and Dennis Davidson,” said Davidson in the email. “I look forward to a new challenge in my life!”


Davidson is a Catawba alumni and has been employed with the school for 29 years, mostly in sports information and athletic administration.
