SALISBURY — The Rowan Sheriff’s Office has charged Michael Wayne Jenkins, 39, of 9070 Unity Church Road, Mooresville, with felony larceny.

He is accused of selling a stolen utility trailer from Cabarrus County to Beaver Honda Car Salvage Nov. 5 for $388.40. It was sold as scrap metal.

The salvage yard is located at 9455 Wright Road.

Deputies traced the pickup truck that was used to tow the trailer and a driver’s license number on the receipt to Jenkins, who lives on the Rowan County side of Mooresville.
