KANNAPOLIS — The South Rowan Alliance will sponsor a community forum for Kannapolis voters to meet the candidates running for mayor and City Council.

The event is free and open to the public from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the old bank building, 201 West Ave., in the former Cannon Village.

During the forum, voters will learn more about the candidates’ platforms and can register to vote. Organizers will offer information on “myths and truths” of the new voter ID law.

To learn more, call Pastor Tracy Caldwell at 704-701-9135.
