Tickets on sale for Gold Hill Lighting of the Fall Fires

GOLD HILL — The Gold Hill Historic Preservation Society will host the 13th annual Lighting of the Fall Fires from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 23.

It is an evening of entertainment, dinner fare, refreshments and warm holiday cheer strolling through the historic village and its quaint shops and café, a news release said.


Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at village shops or by sending your check to PO Box 282, Gold Hill, NC 28071. Make checks payable to the Gold Hill Preservation Society.

To pre-order tickets and get confirmation that organizers received your check, include an email address with the pre-order payment.

Pick up pre-ordered tickets at the Russell-Rufty Shelter in the park after 5 p.m. on Nov. 23.

Tickets are traded for gold nuggets that give entry into shops where they’ll serve holiday treats.
