How to protect those we love from neglect and abuse will be the topic tonight when Diane Sandell speaks at a session from 6 to 8 p.m. at Home Instead Senior Care, 1839 Jake Alexander Blvd. W.

Sandell, co-author of “Ending Abuse: A Family Guide,” founded a nonprofit organization in Orange, Calif., following the abuse, beating and death of her mother in a long term facility. The organization was named Network Outreach Better Living for the Elderly (NOBLE).

A light meal will be provided, compliments of MedExpress Pharmacy. RSVP to Teresa Dakins at 704-788-3399.
