Fall Plant Sale by Cabarrus County Cooperative Extension

Fall Plant Sale held by Cooperative Extension to Raise Program Support Funds.

There are many reasons to grow your own fruit. We know how to help. Orders are being taken now for varieties of Blueberries, Blackberries, Muscadine and Fig Plants. For the first time, Cabarrus Cooperative Extension will not only provide free research-based educational information on planting, growing and taking care of plants as well as preparing and preserving the fruit that is spawn but will provide fruit plants for $9 each that are well adapted to the piedmont growing conditions.
All plants are to be picked up on November 14-15 (9am – 5pm) at the Cabarrus County Cooperative Extension Office, 715 Cabarrus Ave-West, Concord, NC 28027. Order by calling 704/920-3310 or online at http://cabarrus.ces.ncsu.edu/cabarrus-cooperative-extension-fall-plant-sale/  prior to November 7, 2013.
All proceeds from the Plant Sale provide Cooperative Extension programming support. This plant sale is a fundraiser for Cabarrus County Cooperative Extension. All plants are grown in nurseries in Georgia or Alabama. All orders are non-refundable. Plants do not have a warranty.
Detailed information is available about each plant variety. All plants are sold in 1-gallon containers. Orders for 10 or more plants, the cost is $8 each. For information about the sale contact Robbie Furr, County Extension Director  at 704/920-3310.
