Tyler - Agner
NEWTON GROVE - Ashley Grace Tyler and Daniel James Agner were married September 28, 2013, at Hopewell United Methodist Church. Rev. Carol Dean and Rev. Barry Teague officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the PFWB Tabernacle in Dunn.
The bride was escorted by her father, Jeffrey Tyler. Megan Tyler Westbrook of Clinton served as her sisterÕs Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included sister of the groom Sara Agner Maloney of Richfield, Camille Harrison Barfield of Durham, Rachel Harrison of Greenville, Lindsay Daughtry of Newton Grove, Alycia McLamb of Clinton, Linley Evans of Gold Hill, Ashley Pearsall of Rocky Mount and Summer Curlee of Salisbury. Flower girl was Abigail Tyler of Newton Grove.
Rodney Agner served as his sonÕs Best Man. Groomsmen were brother of the bride Reid Tyler of Newton Grove, Jake Fogleman of Liberty, Brandon Westbrook of Clinton, Kyle Maloney of Richfield, Noah Bell of Charlotte, Zachary Gobble of Gold Hill and Tanner Stirewalt and Austin File, both of Salisbury. Ushers were Dalton Ludwick of Richfield and River Curlee of Salisbury. Ring bearer was Gentry Westbrook of Clinton.
Stan Benton was pianist and soloists were Angela Martin and Phyllis Jones, grandmother of the bride. Register and program attendants were Macie Curlee and Bree Tucker, both of Salisbury.
Ashley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Tyler and the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Tyler of Newton Grove and the late Mr. Herman Tyler and Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Jones of Clinton. She was the 2008 valedictorian of Hobbton High School and graduated magna cum laude from Meredith College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Kindergarten through sixth grade teaching license. She is employed by Lexington City Schools as a third grade teacher at Southwest Elementary School.
Daniel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Agner and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eagle and Mr. and Mrs. James A. Agner Jr., all of Salisbury. A 2008 East Rowan graduate, Daniel graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He is employed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Department as an environmental program inspector.
After a honeymoon to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, the couple will live in Salisbury.
