FAITH — The Faith American Legion Junior Auxiliary is participating in Homeless Not Hopeless, a homeless veterans awareness campout project to be held Sept. 27-28 at the Faith American Legion Building.
For the veterans, the group is collecting non-perishable canned foods, toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, clean gently used clothes for men, women and children (for all ages and sizes), cold-weather clothing (gloves, hats), all types of bedding, tarps, waterproof storage containers and anything else a person may need on a daily basis to survive.
Donations may be dropped off between 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday at the Faith American Legion Building.
