Hall’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, 611 E. Monroe St., having annual Matron’s Pastor’s Aid Auxiliary fish and hotdog sale Saturday, Sept. 21, 9 a.m-3 p.m.

• First exhibition of artwork by RCCC art faculty, tonight 6-8 p.m. at Waterworks Visual Arts Center. Free.


• Daniel Haywood Sides Family Reunion, Sunday, Sept. 22, 1 p.m. at Granite Quarry Civic Park.

• Dixonville reunion scheduled Sept. 20, 21. Friday, 6-9 p.m. Meet and Greet/Business Meeting,Western Star Lodge 9 on Old Concord Road. Saturday, 12-4 p.m., picnic with food, music, games at Towne Creek Park. Scholarship award to be announced. Info: Kay Frances Woods, 704-637-9073.

• J.C. Price Post 107 Sunday Nite Jam with DJ “Danny D.” 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Donation $5. Ladies in free until 10 p.m. Door prizes. Dress to impress. Must be 21 with proper ID.
