On Sept. 5 at approximately 2 p.m. Iredell County Emergency Communications got a call about a fight in progress on King Street in Statesville. When deputies arrived, they found the caller, who said the fight was between her niece and the niece’s boyfriend. They were also told the suspect had fled on foot prior to their arrival. The victim was said to be at 1103 King St.
