Library hosts meeting about study into blueberries and memory
The Rowan Public Library will host a presentation by the UNC NRI Cheatham Nutrition and Cognition Laboratory on Tuesday, Sept. 17, about a study involving blueberries and dementia.
Researchers are looking for people who are 65 to 79 years old, who are beginning to experience memory issues, and who have not been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s to participate. The study aims to find out if eating blueberries every day can slow or prevent memory loss in humans.
An informational session will be held in the Stanback Auditorium of Rowan Public Library Headquarters at 3 p.m. For more information, contact call 704-250-5018 or email email@example.com.
Participants will be screened and those who are approved will be paid.
