Police and emergency responders were on the scene of a shooting early Wednesday morning off St. Matthews Church Road in eastern Rowan County, according to scanner traffic.
Crews responded about 12:40 a.m. to a call of a man in his 60s shot in the chest in a trailer park off Ashford Circle near Inglewood Lane, according to the scanner. No further details were available early Wednesday.
