Rockwell Christian names new principal
ROCKWELL — David Case is the new principal at Rockwell Christian School for the 2013-2014 school year. Originally from Sudlersville, Md., Case is an alumnus of Chestertown Christian Academy, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class.
After completion of high school, he attended Crown College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in theology and master’s degree in education administration. For the past few years, he has lived in Hickory, working in a private Christian school. While in Hickory, Case’s work has consisted of being an assistant to the administrator, middle school teacher, development team member, soccer coach and summer camp director.
He moves to Rockwell with his wife Hannah (a graduate of Rockwell Christian School), daughter Isabelle, and a son due on Sept. 23.
“I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve Rockwell Christian School and this community,” said Case. “I am thankful for both the conscious and unconscious preparations God has given to prepare me for this position and look forward to a great school year.
“Rockwell Christian School has a unified, professional team of teachers who desire academic excellence while striving to reproduce the mind of Christ in the heart of each student. It is my desire to aid the staff as we train the next generation to develop solid, personal relationships with Jesus Christ, become God’s educated leaders of tomorrow in society, and lead their future families to follow Him with their whole heart. May we all remember Matthew 19:26, ‘...with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.’ I do covet your prayers as I lead Rockwell Christian School to move forward. May God bless.”
