SALISBURY — Salisbury Academy will host its annual Scholastic Book Fair this month. This year’s theme is A Cool Place to Discover Hot Books!

The fair will be held in the Media Center Monday, Sept. 16, through Thursday, Sept. 19, from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Parents, friends and community are welcome to attend. Salisbury Academy is located at 2210 Jake Alexander Blvd., N. Please check in at the front office. This year the academy will also take online orders. Visit to shop online.

Proceeds from this event will support Salisbury Academy’s new library management program, Destiny, which connects students to digital resources and tools and allows for active student learning and collaboration.

“When I discovered Destiny, I knew that it would be a perfect fit for our 21st century community,” said Librarian Angela Graham. “Destiny’s user-friendly interface not only allows students and teachers to check the library for books but also gives them access to reliable resources from anywhere in the school or from home. It thrills me that our students have a new way to view and use the library at Salisbury Academy and that the support from the Scholastic Book Fair can assist with this valuable tool.”
