The 8th annual “Night at the Opry” will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Lutheran Church Family Life Center, 9275 Bringle Ferry Road.

This year’s event, a “Country Legends Show,” is a benefit in memory of the late Paul Hill to buy a new sound system for Liberty United Methodist Church.

Playing will be D.C. and Friends (a Nashville Legends Band) with Darrell Connor, Jack Kee, G.W. Saunders, Fred Carpenter, Tracy Day, Larry Tucker, Eric Morse and special guests Debbie Fry and Megan Stoner.

Tickets are $5. Children younger than 6 get in free of charge.

Boy Scouts from the church will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs prior to the show.

Call Darrell Connor at 704-637-6261 for more information or to be a sponsor of the show.
