Nation’s drug laws need to be enforced
On Aug. 12, America surrendered in the war on drugs. Eric Holder announced there would be no future cases brought against small drug dealers — “small” being undefined. Probably less than a ton or two? Further, he announced many small-time, nonviolent drug offenders now in prison would be released. Nonviolent? How many of them weren’t armed?
So expect the crime rate to roar back. It was down due to the large number of criminals in prison. Stats show 63 percent of those released are back in jail within three years. How many crimes did they commit before being caught and returned to jail? We also must ask whether this decision had anything to do with Obama once being a big-time “toker” and experimenting with other dope?
Even during the Clinton years, police had to beg the feds to make drug cases. A Salisbury cop related how after getting convicted, a dealer threatened, “I’ll get you for this.” Will he be one of the thousands released? Why should cops risk making drug cases now, when they stop someone on the way to deliver to your sons or daughters? Write a ticket and let it go, their pay will be the same. Will your life?
How will the dopers support their addiction? By making us their victims! But some of us have guns. Yes, but that’s Holder’s next project — banning them. He’s already denounced the right of self-defense.
Given that there are millions of illegal aliens in the country, that Obama has released thousands of them from jail already and now has decided to release thousands of drug criminals — while refusing to enforce or bending our laws — he should be impeached. Obama and Holder have done more to ruin our nation than all the communists combined.

I have a question for the ACLU and the plaintiffs in the prayer suit: Why does the name Jesus upset people so much? Is it because we have a loving Jesus to pray to when we have problems, and others have nothing and that upsets them?
What has happened to our country? When I went to school, we had Bible study and prayer before class. We didn’t have guards, guns, drugs — and if we had gays, they stayed in the closet where I think they belong. We respected our teachers and parents. Then the courts said they didn’t want God in our schools, so they replaced God with Satan. Now our schools are like prisons, with guards walking the halls, children being killed, drugs and guns.
This is what happens when you replace God with Satan. We live in a state where you can’t put a killer to death but it’s OK to kill babies. The downfall of the United States is not coming from another country but from our own. The president, our governments, the ACLU, atheists, gays, the courts — they are the ones who will bring America down.
They are taking God out of everything, and the church will be next. They want this country to become a Godless, atheistic nation. Our rights are being taken from us one at a time, and soon we won’t have any left.
I’m an ex-Marine, Vietnam vet, biker and Christian. I wear a vest with a patch of the American flag. I have a cross and a pin that says “Jesus First” on my vest.
If any of that offends someone, get over it. I couldn’t care less. I still have a few rights left.
