Pozyck – Barnette

Jessica Ann Pozyck and Jared Wesley Barnette were united in marriage June 1, 2013, at the Historic Salisbury Train Station. The Rev. Mike Shoaf officiated the 5:00 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception.
The bride was escorted by her father, Stephen Pozyck of Salisbury. Attending as her maid of honor was Kori Goble of Charlotte. Bridesmaids were sister of the bride, Savannah Pozyck of Salisbury, sister of the groom, Joy Hiatt of Salisbury, Emily Barnette of Mt. Ulla, Lindsay Cornelius of Salisbury, Ashley Miller of Salisbury and Amber Hinson of Salisbury. Junior bridesmaid was Layla Ewing, niece of the bride, of Salisbury. Flower girls were nieces of the groom Brinley Hiatt and Neely Hiatt.
Best man was father of the groom, Charles Barnette of Mt. Ulla. Groomsmen were brother of the groom Jason Barnette of Mt. Ulla, Neal Hiatt of Salisbury, David Trenor of Cleveland, Ryan Stout of Salisbury, Ryan Schenk of Salisbury, Andrew Belk of Mt. Ulla and Chip Belk of Mt. Ulla.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Bonnie Pozyck of Salisbury. A 2001 graduate of East Rowan High School, Jessica is employed at Salisbury Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic.
The groom is the son of Charles and Janice Barnette of Mt. Ulla. A 2001 graduate of West Rowan High School, Jared is employed at Stout Heating and Air.
Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple are making their home in Mt. Ulla.
