SALISBURY — Police said a Salisbury man was stabbed in the neck with a knife at a Salisbury night club Thursday night.
Robin Otto Worth, 29, was injured about 1:30 a.m. inside Club Xclusive on South Main Street, according to police reports.
Authorities said Worth was uncooperative with officers. He was in surgery Friday morning, police said.
In June, officers said Worth was shot during a dispute, but no arrests were made after Worth refused to cooperate.
Worth has a lengthy history with Rowan County law enforcement and made headlines earlier this year after he accepted a $40,000 settlement from the city in a lawsuit against the late Sgt. Mark Hunter and former Officer Kareem Puranda.
Worth also testified against Puranda in a federal trial in April, but a jury found Puranda not guilty on two federal offenses.
Worth was taken to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center following the incident Friday. However, a hospital spokeswoman said Worth was not listed in the hospital’s registry.
