SALISBURY — Tamarac Marina has postponed its annual fireworks show until Labor Day.

An employee at the business said the show was originally slated for July 13, more than a week after the traditional Fourth of July show date.

The woman said Tuesday that Dan Black, the marina’s owner, had pushed the show back.

“We had them scheduled for the 13th, but they cancelled them,” she said. “They’re having a big party on Labor Day. They’re going to do them then.”

The delay was confirmed on the marina’s Facebook page.

Black could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
