Local governments will close offices and change some service schedules for the Fourth of July holiday.
In Salisbury, city office buildings including the Salisbury Customer Service Center and all four recreation centers will be closed Thursday.
The city will pick up garbage and recycling on schedule but not collect limbs on Thursday.
Salisbury city buses and other public transportation will not run Thursday.
Fibrant Technical Support will maintain regular hours. For assistance, call 704- 216-7567 and select option 3 for Fibrant, then select option 3 again for internet or option 4 for video or phone.
Salisbury Rowan Utilities’ administrative offices will be closed Thursday. If you have a water/sewer emergency after hours or during the holiday, call 704-638-5339.
Salisbury Community Park will operate on schedule from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Other holiday schedule changes and closures includes:
• Spencer Town Hall will be closed Thursday. No change to garbage collection.
• Landis Town Hall will be closed Thursday. Garbage and recycling will not be affected.
• China Grove Town Hall will be closed Thursday. Garbage and recycling will not be affected.
• Cleveland Town Hall will be closed Thursday with no change to garbage services.
• Faith Town Hall will be closed Thursday with no change to garbage services.
• East Spencer Town Hall will be closed Thursday with no change to garbage services.
