A group of West Rowan High School band students recently volunteered their time to play Christmas music at the Salvation Army red kettle outside of Old Navy.
“We enjoyed seeing everyone appreciate our music and give to the Salvation Army,” said Cassidy Nooner, a sophomore who organized and directed the group. “What a delight.”
Band members included Gaby Roldan, Alejandro Roldan, Lenora Brooks, Camryn Nooner, Savannah Morgan, Baylee Errante, Jessica Ho, Emily Goddard, Katelyn Holloway, Miles Ramseur, Richard Kyles, Josh Doyle and Nick Watson.
West Rowan graduate Alex Day traveled from Western Carolina to join the group on tuba.
