KANNAPOLIS — It’s time to party like it’s 1999, and for the Kannapolis Intimidators, that means giving fans an “unbollweevible” night as the team dons throwback uniforms and takes the field as the Piedmont Boll Weevils. On Saturday, July 13, the Intimidators are hosting Turn Back the Clock Night, taking fans back to 1999 with a Salute to the Piedmont Boll Weevils, the franchise’s former moniker. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m.
The Intimidators are rolling back concessions to 1999 prices, and fans who wear Boll Weevils gear to the ballpark can purchase reserved-level tickets for the 1999 price of $5.
