SALISBURY — Hold on to your panini.

The new Panera Bread on East Innes Street at the Kmart shopping center plans to open Tuesday.

According to the company’s Facebook page, the restaurant at 825 E. Innes St. will celebrate a grand opening on Tuesday with special events throughout the day. The store will feature a bakery, cafe and a highly anticipated drive through.

Innes Street Station is buzzing with activity. The Panera Bread building will have a small retailer, yet to be named, and the Office Depot building has been subdivided to include Big Lots, which moved from the Salisbury Mall.
