Motorcycle, car collide at NC 801, Statesville Boulevard

The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating an afternoon crash between a motorcycle and a passenger car that occurred at the intersection of N.C. 801 and Statesville Boulevard.

The crash happened just before noon, just across from the West Rowan Grill, in the 8800 block of Statesville Boulevard, Cleveland. Officials have not released details, but at least one person was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Cleveland Fire Department also responded to the scene. Firefighters had to redirect traffic around the crash since the vehicles came to rest in the roadway. Check Wednesday’s Post for more details.
