Cline ~ Liggon

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Glenn “Bucky” Cline, Jr. of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lowry Ann Cline, to Mr. Charles Elvin “Ned” Liggon, IV, son of Ms. Paula Batchelor Liggon and Mr. Charles Elvin Liggon, III and the stepson of the late Betty Jo Liggon, all of Wilson.

Lowry is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Glenn Cline of Salisbury; the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas William Kern of Salisbury; and the late Mr. James Henry Riddle of Salisbury. A 2000 graduate of Salisbury High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Meredith College. Lowry is a Design Consultant for Standard Pacific Homes in Raleigh.


Ned is the grandson of Mrs. Sherwood Horace Batchelor of Wilson and the late Mr. Batchelor; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elvin Liggon, Jr. of Wilson. A 2000 graduate of Hunt High School, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Ned is a Mortgage Loan Officer for First South Bank in Raleigh.

A September wedding is planned in Salisbury.
