“Changing the Face of Aging” is the May Speaker’s forum sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care on Tuesday, June 18 from 6- 8 p.m. This forum discusses subjects important to quality of life as we age.

Senior Living Options: What are my choices, how do I pay for it. Presenter: Debi Lee, Regional Elder Rights Coordinator, Regional Ombudsman for the Centralina Area Agency on Aging. Learn about senior living options, how to assess which option is appropriate, how to pay for it, what Medicare will not pay.


Smart Start Your Day: A fun and informativeprogram about nutrition. Presenter: Terelle Dillard-Augustin, Rufty Holmes Senior Center Nutrition Program Manager. Do you breakfast every morning? We’ve all heard it before; breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It really is true. Learn quick tips for a great breakfast and enjoy a sample too.

Family Caregiver Stress Relief Program. Presenter: Michael DeBetta, Home Instead Senior Care Community Service Representative. It is important for caregivers to understand stress can impact one’s ability to care for a loved one; DeBetta will share a new program to help determine your level of Caregiver Stress and what to do about it.
